EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

 

Organizations are made up of people. Communication enables people to work together in an organization. It underpins the business enterprise, both internally and externally. Success of an enterprise depends ultimately on the communication skills of its people.

 

Effective communication is not something everybody is born with, but is a skill one has to work upon. Inhibitions and a lack of confidence are often the bottlenecks to this process. This requires a change in attitudes, and a will to succeed.

 

Effective Communication course helps executives to understand the importance of the various methods of communication used in business, and to consciously develop their own skills. It helps them to introspect and assess their strengths and weaknesses, to identify their roles with respect to business objectives, and above all to achieve results through effective communication skills. It consists of four sessions of about 90 minutes each.

The second session deals with

Ø      Four life positions

Ø      Changing & staying OK.

 

The third session deals with

 

Ø      Team-working & team synergy

Ø      Conducting meetings

Ø      Business negotiations

Ø      Report presentation skills

Ø      Use of IT tools

 

The fourth session deals with

 

Ø      Conducting surveys

Ø      Conducting interviews

Ø      Case study handled in groups

Ø      Q&A on the Day’s proceedings
